{"id":16256,"date":"2013-10-23T03:10:39","date_gmt":"2013-10-23T03:10:39","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2013-10-23T03:10:37","modified_gmt":"2013-10-23T03:10:37","slug":"Retail-rival-accuses-Kimora-Lee-Simmons-website-of-fraud","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asiancemagazine.com\/?p=16256","title":{"rendered":"Retail rival accuses Kimora Lee Simmons website of fraud"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Kimora Lee Simmons\u2019 e-commerce fashion retailer depends on fraud and deception to survive, a rival claims in court papers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Simmons, the president and creative director of the four-year-old Just Fabulous, known as Just Fab, was sued alongside the company by rival Fab.com<\/strong>, which claims Just Fab is built on false advertising and misleading business practices.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Simmons\u2019 outfit and Fab.com have been locked in a bitter legal spat since the summer<\/strong> when Just Fab accused its rival of trademark infringement.<\/p>\n<p>Fab.com struck back Wednesday with its claims of fraud and deception.<\/p>\n<p>Fab.com sells furniture, clothes and jewelry. For a $39.95 a month membership fee, Just Fab offers shoppers a personal stylist.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Just Fab customers have complained the monthly fee isn\u2019t clearly spelled out and that they are surprised to find the charge on the credit cards.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cCustomers have complained that they felt their only recourse was to cancel their credit cards to stop the charges,\u201d Fab.com alleged in its suit.<\/p>\n<p>A lawyer for Just Fab didn\u2019t return a request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Ewww yeah not something I&#8217;d be too happy about!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nypost.com\/2013\/10\/23\/fashion-rival-accuses-kimora-lee-simmons-website-of-fraud\/\">www.nypost.com<\/a><br \/>\n<!--break--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kimora Lee Simmons\u2019 e-commerce fashion retailer depends on fraud and deception to survive, a rival claims in court papers.
