{"id":16354,"date":"2013-11-19T02:11:27","date_gmt":"2013-11-19T02:11:27","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2013-11-19T02:11:27","modified_gmt":"2013-11-19T02:11:27","slug":"-Good-Day-LA-anchor-Julie-Chang-diagnosed-with-brain-tumor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asiancemagazine.com\/?p=16354","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Good Day LA&#8217; anchor Julie Chang diagnosed with brain tumor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Los Angeles\u2019 KTTV \u201cGood Day LA\u201d anchor Julie Chang was diagnosed with a brain tumor after a she had medical tests done following a surfing accident, her coworkers revealed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A news anchor read a statement from Chang, explaining that she got a black eye after she was hit in the face by her surfboard, and a CT scan revealed \u201ca tumor in the core\u201d of her brain.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI will recover with the warmth you have given me since my first day here on Fox 11,\u201d Chang stated. \u201cI have bottled up all the love from my \u2018Good Day LA\u2019 family to take with me into the operating room, so please know that I will be OK.\u201d<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nChang promised to keep fans updated on her condition via Twitter<\/strong> and she stated that she would be undergoing surgery to remove the tumor in the next few days.<\/p>\n<p>The anchors of \u201cGood Day LA\u201d revealed they Chang\u2019s medical issues began about two months ago, but she kept all her issues under wraps.
