Korean singer-actress BoA is set to appear in Korean director Choi Ho’s action-thriller \u201cBig Match\u201d next year, reported Korean media.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The \u201cBig Match\u201d production team recently confirmed that BoA has joined the film\u2019s cast.<\/p>\n

They also revealed that her character, Soo Kyung, will have a number of action scenes.<\/p>\n

It will be the 27-year-old K-pop star’s first appearance in a Korean film<\/strong>, after making her big screen debut in the Hollywood dance flick \u201cMake Your Move 3D\u201d earlier this year.<\/p>\n

She will star alongside actors Lee Jung Jae and Shin Ha Kyun in “Big Match”.<\/p>\n

The film will see Shin play a game designer who creates a special game for Korea\u2019s wealthy, while Lee plays a man who enters the game in order to save his brother.<\/p>\n

\u201cBig Match\u201d goes into production later this month and will be released in late 2014.<\/p>\n
