The suit dates to a 2001 licensing agreement.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Woods was served a trial subpoena last Wednesday, on the eve of the WGC-Cadillac Championship, and was supposed to testify Monday, the Herald reports.<\/p>\n<p><strong>According to the Herald report:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Bruce Matthews, a South Miami resident, and his company (Gotta Have It Golf Inc.) allege that Woods breached a 2001 licensing agreement by not providing a specified number of autographs and photographs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur client is very frustrated that ETW has not lived up to its agreements and that it has taken this long for the matter to be heard in court,\u201d said Eric Isicoff, one of Matthews\u2019 attorneys.<\/p>\n<p>The Herald also reported that Matthews\u2019 company is seeking $1.75 million plus another $1 million in attorney\u2019s fees.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, Woods battled a lower-back injury and shot 78 \u2013 the highest final-round score of his PGA Tour career \u2013 to tie for 25th at Doral.
