When you bring that &#8220;small token of your appreciation&#8221; know enough not to take the leftover wine\/dessert\/appetizer home with you!  I cannot tell you how many times I have witnessed a guest taking the item that they brought to the party home with them.  It doesn&#8217;t occur often but enough to make a mark.
