{"id":17612,"date":"2014-09-08T21:09:09","date_gmt":"2014-09-08T21:09:09","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2014-09-08T22:09:21","modified_gmt":"2014-09-08T22:09:21","slug":"Marisa-Sung-s-Chinese-Fish-Parcels","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asiancemagazine.com\/?p=17612","title":{"rendered":"Marisa Sung&#8217;s Chinese Fish Parcels"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><br \/>\n1 lb. white fish fillets<br \/>\n2 green onions<br \/>\n1 tbsp. olive oil<br \/>\n2 tbsp. sliced almonds<br \/>\n1 tbsp. finely shredded gingerroot<br \/>\n1 4 ounce can of straw mushrooms, drained<br \/>\n1\/2 cup low fat chicken broth<br \/>\n1\/4 cup oyster sauce<br \/>\n1 tsp. of cornstarch<br \/>\n8 ounces of fresh organic asparagus spears, cut diagonally into<br \/>\n1 and 1\/4-inch pieces<\/p>\n<p><strong>Steps:<\/strong><br \/>\n1. Rinse fish and pat dry. Place each fillet on a piece of foil large enough to enclose it.<br \/>\n2. Cut onions in half lengthwise and then cut into 1 and 1\/2 inch pieces.<br \/>\n3. Heat wok over high heat.  Add oil. Stir fry onions, almonds and gingerroot for 30 seconds.  Stir in mushrooms.<br \/>\n4. Mix broth, oyster sauce, and cornstarch.  Add to wok. Cook and stir until thickened.  Stir in asparagus; cool.<br \/>\n5. Spoon asparagus mixture over fish.  Fold foil to make parcels; place in Steamer Basket.
