The original Lotte Berk program started in New York City and the Hamptons! It became so popular that it has been adapted by different former students and developed into forms of ballet, pilates and yoga. In some cases, all three of these disciplines are incorporated into a Barre Program which is not the original Lotte Berk Program but a version of it. Lotte Berk Method is so similar to the Modern Dance Classes that were taught in French at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theater. I attended the Playhouse for several years as a youth and the Modern Dance, Ballet and Jazz Dance Classes were my favorite.<\/p>\n

I enjoy The Barre Program as well which is very similar to the original Lotte Berk Program! A South Korean Girl named Michelle is currently working on a series of DVD’s with Lotte Berk’s daughter who is a religious practitioner of her mother’s method. She looks unbelievable for her age! Michelle Rhee will be offering her DVD’s hopefully in time for Christmas! I am patiently awaiting this offering! \ud83d\ude42<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
