{"id":17997,"date":"2014-11-12T01:11:05","date_gmt":"2014-11-12T01:11:05","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2014-11-12T01:11:05","modified_gmt":"2014-11-12T01:11:05","slug":"Laura-Ling-Joins-Discovery-Digital-Networks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asiancemagazine.com\/?p=17997","title":{"rendered":"Laura Ling Joins Discovery Digital Networks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Laura Ling is joining Discovery\u2019s digital wing with the mission to create more online-native content for the the company\u2019s web presence.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ling will be Director of Development for the digital networks, which currently generate 150 million streams a month to online viewers.<\/strong> The 110 online series and channels that are part of Discovery Digital include such big sites as Sourcefed, Revision3, Animalist and The DeFranco Network.<\/p>\n<p><strong>She most recently was host and a reporter on two documentary series for E!, including E! Investigates and Society X with Laura Ling.<\/strong> She previously was VP of the journalism department at Current TV, where she also was a correspondent with the documentary show Vanguard.  She also has worked at KCET, Channel One and MTV, and won both an Emmy and an Edward R.
