{"id":18098,"date":"2014-11-30T02:11:40","date_gmt":"2014-11-30T02:11:40","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2025-10-15T12:14:35","modified_gmt":"2025-10-15T12:14:35","slug":"supersonic-jet-will-get-you-from-nyc-to-la-in-2-5-hours","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asiancemagazine.com\/?p=18098","title":{"rendered":"Supersonic Jet Will Get You From NYC To LA In 2.5 Hours"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>In the not-so-distant future, getting from NYC to LA should be a piece of cake: a new group of supersonic jets are being developed that will cut travel time across the country in half.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Perfect for easy access to the highest Asian American populations in the US!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Among these new jets\u2014which have already started being used in the private and business jet market\u2014is the N+2, designed by Lockheed Martin. It&#8217;s specifically intended for commercial use, can fit up to about 80 passengers, and can get you from LaGuardia to LAX in two and a half hours.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, in Reno, <strong>Airbus is teaming up with US-based Aerospace firm Aerion to create a supersonic jet that can fly from London to New York in three hours and from Los Angeles to Tokyo in six.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Aerion AS2 business jet will fly at 1,217mph, using\u00a0proprietary supersonic laminar flow technology &#8211; almost as fast as Concorde, which flew at 1,350mph.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Take a
