Eva Chen\u2019s time at Lucky magazine is up.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The fashion magazine\u2019s editor-in-chief announced the \u201cintensely personal\/difficult decision\u201d to leave the publication on Instagram and Twitter on Thursday morning.<\/p>\n

She said she will lead the brand\u2019s transition. \u201cThe brand lives on. The brand stays strong,\u201d she tweeted.<\/p>\n

News of Chen’s impending departure was first reported by WWD. Citing unnamed sources, the trade also said that\u00a0Lucky\u00a0is planning to shut down its print operations and go all-digital, and that several investment groups in Silicon Valley have expressed interest in acquiring the Lucky Group’s remaining assets.\u00a0Gillian Gorman Round, president of the Lucky Group, is also expected to depart, WWD reported.<\/p>\n

The news follows\u00a0Cond\u00e9 Nast’s announcement that the jewel of its digital portfolio, Style.com, is\u00a0being relaunched as an e-commerce site this fall.<\/strong> (The existing site will continue in a reduced capacity at voguerunway.com, and several prominent members of its staff have already been laid off.) – Fashionista<\/a>
