Tiger talked about how tough the month of May is for him on a personal level: His father, Earl Woods, passed away on May 3rd in 2006, and now, he\u2019s dealing with the end of his three-year relationship with Lindsey Vonn.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis three-day stretch is very tough. I haven\u2019t slept. And with what happened Sunday it\u2019s been brutal.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tiger and Vonn announced the end of their relationship in similarly-worded statements on Sunday. Tiger, on his website, blamed the pair\u2019s \u201chectic lives\u201d as the reason behind the split:<\/p>\n

\u201cLindsey and I have mutually decided to stop dating. I have great admiration, respect and love for Lindsey and I\u2019ll always cherish our time together. She has been amazing with Sam and Charlie and my entire family. Unfortunately, we lead very hectic lives and are both competing in demanding sports. It\u2019s difficult to spend time together.\u201d
