The announcement of the ‘Skating with the Stars’ winner<\/strong><\/p>\n A new series called “Skating with the Stars” began between seasons of fall and spring of “Dancing with the Stars”. The two finalists were Rebecca Budig from the “All My Children” soap opera and Bethenny Frankel from “The Real Housewives of New York City” at the end. The end of the Budig and skate partner Fred Palascak skated to “Hot N Cold” by Katy Perry, and received a perfect score for their performance from judges Dick Button, Johnny Weir and Laurieann Gibson. Frankel and Ethan Burgess skated to “Right Round” by Flo Rida and Ke$ha, but failed to capture the win. The fans loved Frankel though.<\/p>\n Upset viewers<\/strong><\/p>\n There has been a lot of popularity with shows that have celebrity competition like “Dancing with the Stars.” There haven’t been very good rating for the ice skating show though. The start to the show was sort of okay although the end wasn’t good at all. That is what the Hollywood Reporter explains. The show needed to have 3.4 million viewers. A 0.8 Nielsen rating could have been had too. About 4 million viewers were what a “Glee” rerun had with a rating of 1.3. There was the actress Sean Young and rocker Vince Neil on the show in the beginning.
