It doesn’t take a Harvard grad to realize his game no longer is a surprise to opposing teams that have scouted his strengths and flaws for more than a month.

“I am getting used to being in the top 1-2-3 things on the scouting report,” Lin said after shooting 5-of-18, scoring 14 points and committing six turnovers in the Knicks’ fifth straight defeat. “I am seeing a lot of different people trying to take away what I was comfortable with…I can make better decisions, but I can’t change my approach.”
Lin exploded onto the scene to help the Knicks to an 8-1 mark in his first nine games as their primary point guard through Feb. 19, but they are 2-7 since Carmelo Anthony returned from a groin injury, with others also joining the rotation in that span.
“Jeremy is going to have some nights that are not going to be perfect, but he knows how to win, and he figures it out as the game goes on,” Mike D’Antoni said. “Notwithstanding some of the geniuses we have in this league, he is going to be a very good point guard.
“I read that now somebody is quoted as saying he’s going to be a mediocre or backup point guard, probably the same guy who said two years ago that he couldn’t play at all (in the NBA)…This guy is going to be good. He is going to have some growing pains, but his heart, brain and athleticism are too good to not be good.”

Tyson Chandler returned to the starting lineup after missing two games with a strained left hamstring, scoring eight points and snaring 12 boards in 39 minutes.

The 7-foot-1 center’s presence didn’t do much to increase the Knicks’ defensive intensity, as D’Antoni had hoped, but Chandler also is clearly nursing an injury to his left wrist.
“I’m not myself right now,” Chandler admitted. “I know that. I’ve got to help my team now. My team needs me now. Whatever my team needs, I’m going to give them.”

The Knicks also remain without backup forward Jared Jeffries, who missed his third straight game with a sore right knee. D’Antoni didn’t totally rule Jeffries out for Monday’s game in Chicago, but he indicated a more likely return is Wednesday against Portland.

J.R. Smith said he will not appeal the $25,000 fine the NBA slapped him with Saturday for posting an “inappropriate” photo on his Twitter page last week of a partially naked woman.
“I’m not really worried about that right now, we just have to get this right as a team,” Smith said. “You can’t worry about off-the-court stuff. Our issue right now is on the basketball court, and until we start winning games, that’s all I need to worry about.”

Read more: http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/basketball/knicks/jeremy-lin-deep-sixered-mistake-filled-loss-mike-antoni-give-guard-article-1.1037236#ixzz1osXB9pcF

Jeremy Lin was flustered by the Sixers into another rocky stat line in the Knicks’ 106-94 loss Sunday at the

[1

post-19358","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news
"1536x1536":"https://asiancemagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/u.jpg","2048x2048":"https://asiancemagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/u.jpg
"colormag-elementor-block-extra-large-thumbnail":"https://asiancemagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/u.jpg
https://asiancemagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/u.jpg
https://asiancemagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/u.jpg","colormag-elementor-grid-medium-large-thumbnail":"https://asiancemagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/u.jpg
Admin
https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/53e6cdc30765aade0129f85e5aeb50124b1d3f5bb9a70373be31e4eb328371e0?s=96&d=mm&r=g
0
Jeremy Lin was flustered by the Sixers into another rocky stat line in the Knicks’ 106-94 loss Sunday at the
News
["https://asiancemagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/u.jpg",113,170,false
https://asiancemagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/u.jpg",113,170,false
https://asiancemagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/u-113x150.jpg",113,150,true
https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/53e6cdc30765aade0129f85e5aeb50124b1d3f5bb9a70373be31e4eb328371e0?s=96&d=mm&r=g
["GET
