Two of Manny Pacquaio’s key ringside aides allegedly kicked and punched a photographer in the frenzied moments after the boxing champion was knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez on Saturday night.<\/p>\n
Al Bello told Yahoo! Sports he was shooting pictures of an unconscious Pacquiao when two members of the boxer’s team became upset and started assaulting him.<\/p>\n
The Getty Images photographer, said adviser Michael Koncz and assistant trainer Buboy Fernandez were angry that he was photographing a face-down Pacquaio. Bello was chased out of the ring, but the members of Team Pacquaio followed.<\/p>\n
“Had I not gotten off the ring, I have no doubt the two of them would have beaten the (expletive) out of me and I might have been seriously hurt,” Bello told Yahoo!<\/p>\n

Koncz, who serves as Pacquaio’s de facto manager, texted Yahoo!’s Kevin Iole that there was no assault, just a “miss understanding.” When later presented with the photographs, no one from Team Pacquaio responded.<\/p>\n
