Rosario Dawson and Danny Boyle’s trance is broken.<\/p>\n
The couple, who dated for less than a year, are no longer an item, Us Weekly confirmed.<\/p>\n
The 33-year-old actress began dating the Oscar-winning director after they completed production of their upcoming film \u201cTrance.\u201d<\/p>\n
Confirming the breakup speculation, Dawson and Boyle, 56, ignored each other at the movie’s press junket in Los Angeles Saturday.<\/p>\n
\u201cRosario and Danny didn’t interact during interviews,\u201d a source told Us. \u201cIt was pretty obvious they’re no longer a couple.\u201d<\/p>\n
The little communication they did have was stiff and robotic.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe was talking to a group of people when she arrived and it was awkward,\u201d the source added, \u201clike a cold greeting, no hug, and they got through it as quickly as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n
But their relationship wasn’t always so frigid. In fact, Dawson previously confessed she made the first move on Boyle.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was just one of those things where we were going to just go our separate ways had someone not said something,\u201d she told Access Hollywood in October 2012.<\/p>\n
Her approach was successful and the couple had a romance for several months last year.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom the outside it looks like there’s a lot of dissimilarities, but we actually have a lot in common,\u201d she added. \u201cWe’re really similar people. He’s a very kind man.\u201d<\/p>\n
The \u201cSlumdog Millionaire\u201d director declined to be as open about their relationship when asked during a March 2 interview with The Mail on Sunday’s Live magazine.<\/p>\n
“I don’t want to talk about any of that to be honest,” he said.<\/p>\n
However, he did compliment Dawson’s lack of vanity while discussing a scene in the movie when the actress was nude and unsure about how to walk around on camera that way.<\/p>\n
“Rosario was worried about that terrible Helmut Newton model walk,” he laughed. “She reminds me of Cameron Diaz. Given how pretty they are, they’re the least vain people. The only thing that bother’s Rosario is the idea she’s got something in her teeth.”<\/p>\n
