Tiger Woods will return to golf in the 2014 Hero World Challenge at the Isleworth Golf & Country Club in December.<\/p>\n
The tournament, Dec. 3-7, will feature an 18-player field including five-time champion and host Tiger Woods, defending champion Zach Johnson, 2014 Masters Tournament winner Bubba Watson and an impressive roster of players from both sides of the 2014 Ryder Cup.<\/p>\n
“We are thrilled about the depth and talent of our field, and I’m looking forward to another exciting year of competition at Isleworth, a course I love,” said Woods.<\/p>\n
The Hero World Challenge is a four-round, 72-hole stoke play event with a $3.5 million purse and players competing for a $1 million winner’s share. The unique showcase, which awards Official World Golf Ranking points, is being held at the challenging par-72, 7,354-yard Isleworth Golf & Country Club in Orlando for the first time in the tournament’s 16-year history.<\/p>\n
