{"id":2665,"date":"2007-01-21T23:01:47","date_gmt":"2007-01-21T23:01:47","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2007-01-21T23:01:47","modified_gmt":"2007-01-21T23:01:47","slug":"Following-the-Yellow-Brick-Road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asiancemagazine.com\/?p=2665","title":{"rendered":"Following the Yellow Brick Road"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>How true is it that to a certain degree, each one of us is yearning to leave where we came from (and no, I&#39;m not talking about your mother&#39;s womb)?\u00a0 Not necessarily anything drastic like packing up everything and hopping onto the Greyhound to the land of far far away.\u00a0 Just simply possessing that small voice nagging at the back of our heads wondering what is out there beyond the four walls of comfort.<\/p>\n<p>Could it be our natural curiousity for the unknown?\u00a0 Or perhaps it&#39;s the longing for something different.\u00a0 Boredom, maybe?\u00a0 Or even frustrations and the desire to leave bad memories behind.\u00a0 Where do we all go though?\u00a0 Somewhere safe&#8230; somewhere far away.\u00a0 A place where it is okay to start all over again; where you know no one and no one knows you.\u00a0 Like perhaps cities &#8212; which are essentially an amalgamation of every different thing in the world.\u00a0 Impersonal, yet never lonely.\u00a0 Dark, yet always filled with celebrations of light.<\/p>\n<p>We&#39;re all off to take our own journeys down the yellow brick road, one time or another &#8212;
