One of the highlights of fashion week was stepping backstage at the Alice Ritter show to watch Takamichi Hair work their magic on the locks of today’s fashion models. Bringing a Japanese approach to a finicky, modern, fashionista crowd, Takamichi’s hair concept for the show was double sided<\/b> hair. The hair in the back is elegant & feminine and the front is pulled up & back.<\/i><\/p>\n

* Pull hair back either in a pony tail or clip.

\n* Grab the front section of your hair, tease at the roots and then either secure with a bobby pin or headband.

\nTakamichi’s clientele include artists, teachers, investment bankers and anyone looking for a unique and thorough experience. His ultimate dream would be to style Cate Blanchett and Gong Li’s hair.<\/p>\n

One of the world’s only Asian Fashion models, Anne Watanabe (above photo). Did you know her father is actor Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai, Batman Returns)? It’s easy to see where she gets the looks in the family. Although, I’m sure her mother is just as beautiful.<\/p>\n
