Shot entirely on location in China, The Forbidden Kingdom<\/i> tells the tale of a 21st Century American teenager, played by Michael Angarano<\/b> (Lords of Dogtown, Seabiscuit) who takes a spellbinding, dangerous journey into martial arts legend. <\/p>\n
The new action\/adventure epic was directed by Rob Minkoff<\/b> (Stuart Little, The Lion King) and was written by John Fusco<\/b> (Young Guns, Hidalgo). The story is based on the traditional Chinese legend of the Monkey King. <\/p>\n
