Acclaimed Japanese multi-instrumentalist Shugo Tokumaru<\/b> will showcase his infectious blend of pop, folk and new music at his long-awaited US performance at New York City’s Mercury Lounge<\/b> on September 23rd, 2008. The show will feature a collaboration between Shugo and very special guests Jon Natchez and Perrin Cloutier of Beirut with Bang on a Can’s Lawson White of So Percussion plus a surprise or two. From whimsical opening track “Parachute” to its melancholy finale “Wedding,” the album proves why Shugo's<\/b> found admirers in Animal Collective, Jens Lekman, M.Ward (with whom he has shared stages
