It’s been over a month and we have heard nothing about Laura Ling<\/b> and Euna Lee<\/b>, the journalists captured on the North Korean border. Al Gore<\/b>, owner of Current TV<\/b> has remained mum. What is that all about? I guess he’s waiting to see what Hillary<\/b> is going to do. Good luck with that! <\/p>\n
Instead of worrying about whether or not we should waterboard terrorists and\/or close Guantamo Bay<\/b>, shouldn’t we worry about getting our journalists back? North Korea has stated Ling<\/b> and Lee<\/b> will be tried for entering the country illegally and "hostile" activities, although Reporters Without Borders<\/b> says the women may have been grabbed on the Chinese side of the border.<\/p>\n
After the recent conviction of Roxana Saberi<\/b>, who was merely buying wine, yet convicted of espionage and sentenced to 8 years in a torture prison, the US seems to be sending the wrong message<\/b>. Is this what these countries are resorting to as bargaining chips? Journalists? Something needs to be done ASAP! Enough with the dumb petitions..Do something!
