They now make up 5 percent of the minority population \u2014 with millions more believed to be uncounted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Demographers say the public profile of golfer Tiger Woods and President Barack Obama<\/strong>, a self-described &quot;mutt,&quot; is having an impact on those who might self-identify as multiracial.<\/p>\n<p>California, Texas, New York and Florida had the most multiracial people, due partly to higher populations of second- and later-generation immigrants who &quot;marry out.&quot; Measured by percentages, Hawaii ranked first with nearly 1 in 5 residents who were multiracial.<\/p>\n<p><strong>More proof that the entire world will be Asian by the year 2500.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Source AP<\/em><br \/>\n<br \/>\n<!--break--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Multiracial Americans have become the fastest growing demographic group.
