Transworld Publishers <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfgate.com\/cgi-bin\/article.cgi?f=\/n\/a\/2009\/06\/05\/entertainment\/e084135D24.DTL\" target=\"_blank\">says<\/a> <strong>Rubina Ali&#8217;s<\/strong> book will tell the story of her life in the shantytown where she grew up.<\/p>\n<p>Danny Boyle cast 9-year-old Rubina in the film about an orphan from Mumbai&#8217;s slums who wins a quiz show.<\/p>\n<p>The filmmakers set up a trust aimed at ensuring that the children who acted in the movie get proper homes and a decent education but relations have grown tense amid disagreements over money.<\/p>\n<p>Madeline Toy at Transworld Publishers said Friday that <strong>&quot;Slumgirl Dreaming: My Journey to the Stars&quot;<\/strong> wil be published in Britain in mid-July.<\/p>\n<p>She said all royalties will go to <strong>Ali and Medecins du Monde, a French medical aid organization.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>You mean her father is ok with giving any money to charity?<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<!--break--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Little Rubina Ali is set to publish her life story.
