As Danny Boyle mentioned<\/a> in his interview with us, he wanted to film a thriller in the city of Mumbai. <\/p>\n

It’s finally been confirmed that his desire will be coming true. Danny bought the rights to \u201cMaximum City: Bombay Lost and Found\u201d<\/strong>, a non-fiction work which is part travelogue, part memoir and gives a colorful overview of Mumbai\u2019s history and people, written by Suketu Mehta<\/strong>, .<\/p>\n

Mr. Boyle<\/strong> also hired award winning writer and Slumdog collaborator Simon Beaufoy<\/strong> to put pen to film. Any idea who will star in the movie? Beaufoy said that the real star of the film would be Mumbai itself<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s such a vibrant, young city. Whereas in London, everything is in a sense hidden away, in Mumbai it\u2019\u2019s just all there in the open \u2013 all the emotion, all the characters,\u201d he said.
