{"id":4411,"date":"2009-07-13T05:07:26","date_gmt":"2009-07-13T05:07:26","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2009-07-12T18:07:33","modified_gmt":"2009-07-12T18:07:33","slug":"His-days-are-numbered","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asiancemagazine.com\/?p=4411","title":{"rendered":"His days are numbered"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>North Korean leader <strong>Kim Jong Il has life-threatening pancreatic cancer<\/strong>, a <a href=\"http:\/\/news.yahoo.com\/s\/ap\/ap_on_re_as\/as_nkorea_kim_jong_il\" target=\"_blank\">news report<\/a> said today, days after new images of him looking gaunt spurred speculation that his health might be worsening following a reported stroke last year.<\/p>\n<p>The 67-year-old <strong>Kim <\/strong>was diagnosed with the cancer around the time he was felled by a stroke last summer, <strong>Seoul&#8217;s YTN television<\/strong> reported, citing unidentified intelligence officials in <strong>South Korea<\/strong> and China.<\/p>\n<p>The report cited the officials saying the disease is &quot;threatening&quot;
