Meet Mitch Koss<\/strong>..the cameraman who accompanied Euna and Laura on their China\/North Korean expedition. He has conspicuously<\/strong> remained silent on the kidnapping of the two girls. Mitchell Koss,<\/strong> 56, a television producer, and Kim Seong-chol, a Chinese-Korean category_ide<\/strong>, both escaped and were reportedly detained by Chinese police.<\/p>\n

Now, rumors are getting louder and louder that Euna and Laura were set up, as the Times of London<\/a> is now reporting North Korea had been hunting for a "foreign prize" for some time. <\/p>\n

\u201cThere is a strong suspicion that he [the category_ide]<\/b> was heavily involved and it was a trap,\u201d said an experienced activist who has led dozens of refugees to safety. There has been no word of Kim.
\n<\/em><\/p>\n

Such suspicions are bolstered by a first-hand account given to The Sunday Times by an American missionary who was warned by Chinese police a month earlier that the North Koreans were trying to capture a foreign journalist. In February a detachment of plainclothes Chinese officers detained the missionary as he took photographs not far from a tourist spot at a bridge across the river at the city of Tumen.<\/p>\n

He was held for interrogation for several hours and later released without charge. During his questioning the officers warned him that the North Koreans were known to be hunting for a \u201cforeign prize\u201d along the twisting, narrow course of the river, where the border is erratic as it meanders along sandbanks and shallows. \u201cThey were after a journalist,\u201d said the missionary.

The timing could not be more perfect, so this story definitely sounds plausible. When will we hear from Mitch Koss? Where is he? Perhaps he can offer some insight?
