So glad Danny Boyle has given the Indian culture such exposure. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Tandon <\/strong>didn\u2019t even know about the honour until she got a midnight call from Anil Kapoor, who played an important part in the <strong>Danny Boyle\u2019s<\/strong> rags to riches drama, in Los Angeles. <\/p>\n<p>I think it\u2019s a category that celebrates women who have crossed over from one field to another, like I did from casting director to co-director in <strong>\u2018Slumdog Millionaire\u2019,<\/strong> she explained.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tandon <\/strong>has also been invited by the Queen to visit Buckingham Palace on October 13th.
