Committee of 100 (C-100), in partnership with the USA Pavilion, will build an exhibit entitled, \u201cThe Chinese in America – We are Family\u201d at the USA Pavilion at 2010 World Expo in Shanghai. <\/strong>The exhibit will demonstrate America\u2019s unique strengths as a nation: embracing diversity, offering freedom of choice and an opportunity for success for all.<\/p>\n

To create this exhibit, C-100 plans to rally everyone of Chinese heritage across America to submit their photos to create a Wall \u201cThe Chinese in America\u201d with thousands of photos organized by Chinese family name to demonstrate that \u201cWe Are Family.\u201d<\/strong> It will serve as a grassroots fundraiser for the USA Pavilion and will continue as an effort beyond the World Expo with future use in museums, public spaces, and beyond.<\/p>\n

The exhibit will also highlight Chinese Americans who have contributed to important aspects of American life such as technology, the environment, the arts, sports, business, community service and government.<\/strong> It will show how America, as a cradle of freedom, helped shape these extraordinary pioneers.<\/p>\n
