The Ice Skater to beat at this year’s Olympics is South Korea’s Yu-Na Kim. Personally, I’d like to see Mirai Nagasu perform the biggest upset on the ice but still looking forward to South Korea’s, Japan’s and USA’s performances on the rink.<\/p>\n
Kim’s stock has shot through the roof in Korea, where her face is to be found in fashion and celebrity magazines as well as sponsoring a range of blue chip product lines. This is also fuelled by a perfectly symmetrical face, flashing smile and immediately obvious beauty and grace. Kim Yu-Na has alot riding on her shoulders.<\/p>\n
Funnily enough Kim says her own hero is American Michelle Kwan, a five-time world champion who never won an Olympic gold, rather than Japan’s Shizuka Arakawa, who became the first Asian figure skating gold medalist at Turin.<\/p>\n
