\npLast year’s Oscars was so much more exciting. strongDon’t know if it’s because of the Asian culture or because we actually featured and interviewed the Oscar winners before they won!\/strong\/p
\npDouble Oscar-winner strongAR Rahman\/strong, who was a member of the jury at this year\u2019s Academy Awards, says it was a great honor for him to represent his country again. \/p
\np\u201cI see me being a jury member as an Indian being a jury member. So, it is definitely a matter of great pride to be representing my country at the Oscars and not as someone who was competing to win an award. strongI see all this coming because of Slumdog Millionaire and I\u2019m very happy that the film did so well.\/strong It was a very special project to all of us \u2014 Danny (Boyle), the kids, Dev (Patel), Freida (Pinto),\u201d Rahman told DNA.\/p
\np\u201cBeing a jury member is a very tough job. I hate to compare the work of different people as I feel everyone who has produced something creative has done it with all his\/her heart and soul. It is not right to dissect their work and say who is better and who is not. But awards will have some who will win and some who won\u2019t on that given day. But for me people who have created things are all winners,\u201d he ends.\/p
