{"id":5829,"date":"2010-05-30T18:05:28","date_gmt":"2010-05-30T18:05:28","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2010-05-30T18:05:32","modified_gmt":"2010-05-30T18:05:32","slug":"Aishwarya-s-father-in-law-to-go-to-court-on-fraud-charges-what-","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asiancemagazine.com\/?p=5829","title":{"rendered":"Aishwarya&#8217;s father-in-law to go to court on fraud charges..what?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A woman village-head in Uttar Pradesh sought a local court&#8217;s intervention to get a criminal case registered against <strong>Amitabh Bachchan<\/strong> in Barabanki district, where the megastar has bought land to build a women&#8217;s college.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nRaj Kumari<\/strong> is the &#8216;gram pradhan&#8217; (village head) of Daulatpur village, where the mega star had acquired five bighas of land, in 2006, to build a college in the name of his star daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Raj Kumari <\/strong>has accused <strong>Bachchan<\/strong> of &#8220;playing fraud&#8221; on the people of the village by not keeping his word of building a women&#8217;s college.<\/p>\n<p>She has further charged Bachchan of threatening her with dire consequences when she approached him to honor his commitment to the local population.<\/p>\n<p>The court has fixed May 31 for hearing the case.<\/p>\n<p><strong>See Amitabh Bachchan and his daughter in-law Aishwarya Rai in the video below.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The song is from the 2005 film <strong>Bunty Aur Babli<\/strong>, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji and Amitabh Bachchan. The scene in which this song was featured was when <strong>Amitabh<\/strong> and <strong>Abhishek <\/strong>were at a night club and <strong>Aishwarya Rai<\/strong>, making a special appearance in the film, starts singing; <strong>Amitabh<\/strong> and <strong>Abhishek<\/strong> soon join her in the singing and dancing. The song has its roots in a folk song of Braj Bhoomi, in which the celebrated &#8220;black eyes&#8221; (Kajra Re) are Lord Krishna&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"500\" height=\"301\"><param
