A newly released report finds that \u201cNew Jersey Asian Americans live, on average, an astonishing 26 years longer, are 11 times more likely to have a graduate degree, and earn $35,610 more per year than South Dakota Native Americans.\u201d African-Americans, in contrast, have a life expectancy equivalent to the average American\u2019s life expectancy three decades ago. Nationwide, Native Americans score the lowest on the American Human Development Index. <\/p>\n<p><strong>If you&#8217;re white, you might want to move to Washington, DC. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Washington, D.C. offered the highest level of human development among whites. \u201cWhites in D.C. live about seven years longer, earn more than twice the annual wages, and are five times more likely to have completed college than their West Virginia counterparts,\u201d the state where whites\u2019 well-being was ranked the lowest, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some other interesting facts from the report:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<strong>Asian Americans live the longest (86.6 years)<\/strong><br \/>\n-African American life expectancy today is on par with that of the average American life span three decades ago<br \/>\n-Latinos outlive whites, on average, by over four years, and in all but four states<br \/>\n-Whites were most likely to complete high school \u2013 nine out of 10 did so.
