{"id":5879,"date":"2010-06-11T05:06:15","date_gmt":"2010-06-11T05:06:15","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2010-06-11T05:06:12","modified_gmt":"2010-06-11T05:06:12","slug":"Ash-s-father-in-law-case-thrown-out-to-lack-of-evidence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asiancemagazine.com\/?p=5879","title":{"rendered":"Ash&#8217;s father-in-law case thrown out to lack of evidence"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A woman village-head in <strong>Uttar Pradesh <\/strong>sought a local court&#8217;s intervention to get a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.asiancemagazine.com\/news\/2010\/05\/31\/aishwaryas-father-in-law-to-go-to-court-on-fraud-chargeswhat\">criminal case<\/a> registered against <strong>Amitabh Bachchan<\/strong> in Barabanki district, where the megastar has bought land to build a women&#8217;s college.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nRaj Kumari <\/strong>had accused <strong>Bachchan<\/strong> of &#8220;playing fraud&#8221; on the people of the village by not keeping his word of building a women&#8217;s college. <\/p>\n<p>After hearing the case the court said the proof was inadequate and the case could not be filed against Bachchan and seven others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Raj Kumari<\/strong> is not giving up though.
