Rahman <\/strong>says he is postponing the remaining North American dates of his current concert tour.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rahman canceled the June 20 Toronto date for his &#8220;Jai Ho Concert: The Journey Home World Tour&#8221;<\/strong> after a lighting rig collapsed at the Pontiac (Mich.) Silverdome, injuring several crew members.<\/p>\n<p>Rahman said 10 tour dates are affected, including <strong>Toronto, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Boston, Houston, Dallas, Trenton, N.J., and Raleigh, N.C.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;While I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused our friends in the U.S. and Canada, maybe it&#8217;s a blessing in disguise, as we will have the opportunity to perform for you with even more energy and perfection,&#8221; Rahman wrote on his Web site. <strong>He said the rescheduled dates would be announced after the tour completes its European leg.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The first of six shows in Europe kicks off in Zurich, July 16.<br \/>\n<!--break--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oscar-winning composer A.R.
