Slumdog Millionaire<\/strong> took no name actors and propelled them into some of the most sought after names in Hollywood.<\/p>\n

Despite their success, Freida Pinto<\/strong> seems to be having much more luck with her movie career than current beau Dev Patel<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Dev Patel<\/strong> is finding it hard to promote his latest movie ‘The Last Airbender’, after the film was hit with bad reviews by the critics.<\/p>\n

The 20-year-old actor took on the role of Prince Zuko in M Night Shyamalan’s fantasy film which has been panned by the critics, Playlist magazine reported.<\/p>\n

“You know, you can’t lie and say that every single review written about the film is wrong,” Patel said<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The movie is a feature film adaptation of the animated series ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’.<\/p>\n

“But for me, it’s really tricky. Because at this stage in my career I didn’t have as much say as I would have liked in the film. Yes, there are parts in it that truly amaze me. But there are others, you know…,” Patel said<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The critics were brutal. Hopefully, Dev had more luck with his next project, whatever that may be.<\/p>\n
