{"id":6295,"date":"2010-09-06T04:09:48","date_gmt":"2010-09-06T04:09:48","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2010-09-06T04:09:48","modified_gmt":"2010-09-06T04:09:48","slug":"Freida-s-acting-leaves-alot-to-be-desired-say-critics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asiancemagazine.com\/?p=6295","title":{"rendered":"Freida&#8217;s acting leaves alot to be desired say critics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We were really hoping that <strong>Freida Pinto&#8217;s latest film, &#8216;Miral&#8217; <\/strong>would propel her into the ranks of the Hollywood elite, but since the movie just premiered at the Venice Film Festival, her performace has received less than stellar reviews.<\/p>\n<p>Critics are disappointed by her performance in the film, which is <strong>Freida Pinto\u2019s first movie post \u2018Slumdog Millionaire\u2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Directed by Oscar-nominated director Julian Schnabel,<strong> the movie has been nominated for the Golden Lion Trophy at the Venice Film Festival<\/strong>, but critics have been quite open about Pinto&#8217;s bad acting.<\/p>\n<p>According to the The Telegraph, UK, \u201cThe film wears its heart on its sleeve and its awkwardness, too.
