We\u2019ve been fans of Far East Movement for a looooong time….6 years and counting? The group was one of Asiance’s first interviews.<\/a> They were smart!! The group saw the power of the internet, the Asian American\/Asian population and the changing music industry. <\/p>\n

Armed with great music, hip hop talent and a talented DJ, they created music and captured the masses, relentlessly pursuing the online audience and creating a massive fan base. Fast forward to today and what is the result? On November 20th, it was confirmed that the group had reached the double platinum status for “Like a G6”, collecting two million in sales and counting. <\/p>\n

Their second single to be released for airplay as a follow up to “Like A G6” is called “Rocketeer”, which will exclusively feature Ryan Tedder. It’s sure to be a hit as well, you can see and listen here:<\/p>\n

Vibe. Right when I meet someone, I try to figure out whether we click or not. If it\u2019s uncomfortable from the start, chances are it won’t get any better in the future.<\/p>\n

What qualities to you look for in a girlfriend?<\/h3>\n

Good conversation. I love being around people who aren’t afraid to talk about things and expose their personalities. You don’t have to be born with the gift of gab either. Sometimes good conversations are very minimal yet substantial.<\/p>\n

What was the longest relationship you were ever in?<\/h3>\n

1 year. I used to blame my lack of long term relationships on the other side, but after a few failed attempts I’m starting to wonder….<\/p>\n

Did you ever have a nickname given to you by a girlfriend<\/h3>\n

Just the regular terms of affection. Nothing out of the ordinary.<\/p>\n

On his first kiss:<\/strong> In the 3rd grade I had a crush on a girl but she didn’t like me. So one day I told her that there was a bee on her shoulder; she looked to her shoulder trying to shoo it away and realized there was nothing there. When she turned back I snuck a peck in on the lips and ran away \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n

On a perfect date:<\/strong> I like trying new things with people that I trust or want to get to know. Nothing like being in uncomfortable situations that shows real personalities. So maybe trying cooking, sky diving, or arm wrestling haha I dunno? <\/p>\n

Smart but I don’t mind her being a “C student”, independent, trustworthy, knows how to cook, gets along with my family and is family oriented herself. Overall she has to be my best friend.<\/p>\n

My nickname was the Virmanator.<\/p>\n

On his first kiss:<\/strong> It happened after djing my high school dance in downtown Long Beach. We were walking to my car and I decided to go for it. I turn to her and just kiss her. I still can’t believe she kissed me back. I remember getting butterflies in my stomach because I always had a thing for her. I haven’t seen her since. I still think about that night. I wonder if she does as well.<\/p>\n

On a perfect date:<\/strong> A perfect date for me would be staying in since I’m always on the road, cooking a nice dinner for her and rent some movies. Then she falls asleep on the couch. I notice it is kinda cold in the room so I get her a blanket to keep her warm. After all that, I kiss her on the forehead and say good night.<\/p>\n
