Nora Ephron is REAL<\/p>\n

\nThis woman has real talent, is well-educated, hilarious and true to life. She admits the many mistakes that she has made in both business and her personal life and lives her life in a very dignified way.<\/p>\n

She actually has a daily “bucket list” and has her “last meal” every week. My old neighbor Frances who was my “adopted grandmother” was on a diet one year. I had her over for her birthday and I made her favorite dinner. Needless to say, it violated every aspect of her special diet. About two years later, when she was dying she told me that she was so glad that I did that for her because she enjoyed it so much! For a full year, Frances couldn’t even taste real food.<\/p>\n

Nora admits that you have to live life to the fullest while you are young enough to do it. Getting older is very tough just as I said — don’t let anyone fool you. Don’t be afraid to take risks and to follow your “fourth brain” or intuition. <\/p>\n

She also claimed that finding the right mate is like finding home. I tend to gravitate toward men who remind me of my father. That is because I adored my father and he made me feel happy, secure, safe and put me on a pedastal. He believed in me more than I believed in myself. The right person brings out the best in you and you are happier in their presence than you are without them. You will know when you find it because it is VERY RARE. You are lucky if you get it once or twice in a lifetime. Three times and you are blessed big time!! <\/p>\n

Playing games, cheating, lying, settling, fighting, dominating and controlling are all negative aspects of a miserable marriage. Unfortunately, alot of people live this way. It took Nora three times until she got it right. There is always hope out there.<\/p>\n

I absolutely love her movies. We need more like her. She is a great American Storyteller!
