{"id":6846,"date":"2010-12-06T04:12:08","date_gmt":"2010-12-06T04:12:08","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2010-12-06T04:12:08","modified_gmt":"2010-12-06T04:12:08","slug":"A-John-Lennon-Fantasy-for-Hub-photographer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asiancemagazine.com\/?p=6846","title":{"rendered":"A John Lennon \u2018Fantasy\u2019 for Hub photographer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Thirty years ago, a few months before he was gunned down, John Lennon snuck into a New York recording studio with his wife, Yoko Ono, and made \u201cDouble Fantasy,\u201d the first new music from the ex-Beatle in more than five years \u2014 and Boston photographer Roger Farrington was there to document it.<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>\u201cThere was a ton of secrecy around it,\u201d Farrington told the Track. \u201cWhich is why Yoko wanted to use a Boston photographer. <strong>I got the job through Yoko\u2019s Boston publicist and because my birthday and John\u2019s birthday were a few weeks apart and our stars were aligned or something.<\/strong> But the deal was that I was supposed to act like I wasn\u2019t with them. I was just supposed to be there.
