That&#8217;s the highest level in 11 months.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, foreign holdings of Treasury securities rose 1.1 percent to $4.3 trillion. That indicates that other nations still have a strong appetite for Treasury debt even as the U.S. government continues to run $1 trillion-plus annual budget deficits.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Of the total foreign holdings, $2.85 trillion, or two-thirds, is held by foreign governments and central banks.<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/China-boosts-its-Treasury-apf-1265991959.html?x=0\" title=\"SOURCE\">SOURCE<\/a><br \/>\n<!--break--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>China boosts holdings of US debt for fourth straight month in October.
