He is touted as Taiwan’s answer to Susan Boyle, who gained fame in the “Britain’s Got Talent” show. And now 24-year-old Lin Yu Chun is in Singapore, where he presented his first “live” show at St James’ Dragonfly entertainment outlet on Sunday.<\/p>\n

<\/param><\/param><\/param><\/embed><\/object>
\nLin Yu Chun, a competitor on Taiwan’s popular singing show “Super Star Avenue”, wowed the world with his pitch-perfect rendition of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You”.<\/p>\n

His star rose even higher when the rendition and his other songs became a sensation on YouTube in April.<\/p>\n

Since then, he has been compared to Britain’s Susan Boyle, the 48-year-old who shot to fame after singing “I Dreamed a Dream”.<\/p>\n

Like Susan Boyle, Lin Yu Chun has also inked a deal with Sony Music.<\/p>\n

He will record an album of Chinese and English songs, which will be released in July next year.<\/p>\n
