{"id":7280,"date":"2011-01-17T04:01:55","date_gmt":"2011-01-17T04:01:55","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2011-01-16T20:01:38","modified_gmt":"2011-01-16T20:01:38","slug":"-Social-Network-Leads-Globes-With-Four-Wins","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asiancemagazine.com\/?p=7280","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Social Network&#8217; Leads Globes With Four Wins"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Social Network is the big winner of the night, clinching the top award for best picture and scooping the most honours of the night &#8211; four (best picture, best screenplay, best director, best score).<\/strong> The thank-yous from the stage again acknowledged Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, whose life served as &#8220;a metaphor for communication and the way we relate to each other.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"500\" height=\"385\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/iJCSRxzPfXI?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US\"><\/param><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><\/param><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/iJCSRxzPfXI?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" width=\"500\" height=\"385\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p><strong>The riveting social networking drama trounced the night&#8217;s most nominated film,<\/strong> British historical drama The King&#8217;s Speech, which started the night with a leading seven nominations but scored only one with Colin Firth&#8217;s much deserved best actor honour.<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"500\" height=\"385\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/RR15PyqYIw4?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US\"><\/param><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><\/param><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/RR15PyqYIw4?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" width=\"500\" height=\"385\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p>The Kids Are All Right won two Globes.<\/p>\n<p>Inception, meanwhile, which was nominated for four, left the night empty-handed, as did 127 Hours and The Tourist, which were both nominated for three.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Fighter won two acting awards<\/strong> and Black Swan one. Indeed, there weren&#8217;t that many surprises in the film categories acting wise &#8211; Natalie Portman and Colin Firth seem assured Oscars now, <strong>while Melissa Leo and Christian Bale should probably also start practicing Academy-worthy acceptance speeches.<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"500\" height=\"385\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/PZ5OBf7Kjwo?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US\"><\/param><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><\/param><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/PZ5OBf7Kjwo?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" width=\"500\" height=\"385\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p>It was a good night too for Annette Bening and Paul Giamatti, Steve Buscemi and the cast of <strong>Glee &#8211;
