{"id":7366,"date":"2011-01-26T00:01:03","date_gmt":"2011-01-26T00:01:03","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2011-01-26T00:01:18","modified_gmt":"2011-01-26T00:01:18","slug":"FIR-Against-Facebook-for-Anti-Gandhi-Group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asiancemagazine.com\/?p=7366","title":{"rendered":"FIR Against Facebook for Anti-Gandhi Group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>An IPS officer has lodged an FIR against social networking site Facebook for allegedly maligning the image of Mahatma Gandhi through an online group.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Amitabh Thakur, an IPS officer of UP cadre, has lodged the FIR against Facebook and others at Gomti Nagar police station for allegedly portraying Gandhi in a wrong manner and spreading hatred, police sources said.<\/p>\n<p>In his complaint, Thakur alleged that abuses and dirty words have been used against Gandhi in the &#8220;I hate Gandhi group&#8221; on the social networking site.<\/p>\n<p><strong>He claimed the words and abuses were of such nature that they are provocative with intent to cause riot.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Come join AsianceMagazine.com.
