Improving sales and sex life, on the other hand, is different and creates curiosity. It&#8217;s sensational to a certain extent; on purpose. Why? To ensure I get your attention, of course. But I&#8217;ll keep my promise and share with you the secret to increasing your sales and improving your sex life.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest sin in marketing<\/p>\n<p>Before I go into that, let&#8217;s take a look at the typical corporate marketing material. <strong>In fact, why don&#8217;t you take a look at yours right now. Is there anything there that will get your prospects interested? Is there anything there that DEMANDS their undivided attention? Or does it contain the standard dull content such as company history, vision and mission statements, product features, descriptions of services, etc?<\/p>\n<p>Boring! Boring! Boring!  It&#8217;s no wonder so many people tell me that brochures don&#8217;t work. <strong>But it&#8217;s not that brochures don&#8217;t work, it&#8217;s that their brochures don&#8217;t work. If your stuff is boring, of course it won&#8217;t work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s the technique that will help improve your sales\u2026 and yes, your sex life!  You need to be more controversial!<\/p>\n<p><strong>When you&#8217;re more controversial, you will attract more attention. And when you do it right, it will lead to more sales.<\/strong> <strong>Of course, as you know, controversial people not only attract attention, they also attract more of the opposite sex. Nice girls like bad boys, and nice guys fall for dangerous femme fatales.<br \/>\n<strong><em>Believe me, I know because I am one!<\/p>\n<p><\/em><\/strong>Let&#8217;s take a look at some examples:<br \/>\n<strong>Who was the controversial figure on the talent show American Idol? Simon Cowell. Who was the most highly paid judge on the show when he was still around? Who dated beautiful ladies? We don\u2019t know about Randy the Dawg, but Simon definitely did. And now that American Idol is without the controversial Simon and has become saccharine sweet, can it survive? Well, without any controversy, it&#8217;d be hard to stop its declining viewership.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s look at one of the most iconic sportspersons of the last century &#8211; Mohammad Ali. He became an icon not only because of his talent and achievements, he was also a controversial figure.  Before a fight he would do a lot of trash talking about his opponents and boast how he would finish them in the ring. He often declared that he was the greatest. <\/p>\n<p><strong>As for business personalities, there&#8217;s billionaire Richard Branson. In fact he is a master in using controversies to promote his brand. His brand itself, Virgin, is controversial. His first book is titled Losing My Virginity, and his second, Screw it! Let\u2019s Do it.
