Over 150 participants took part in this year’s Creative Video Awards. For the competition, film-makers, both professional and amateur, were asked to submit an original 3-minute video on the theme – Best Memory.<\/p>\n

Kenneth Tan, Chief Operation Officer of the Media Development Authority of Singapore, said: “I think its especially poignant and resonant when you work off a theme that brings you back or roots you back from where you have come from in the past.”<\/p>\n

The winners were announced at the award ceremony at Zouk by the Singapore Media Academy and MediaCorp’s Channel 5 on Friday night.<\/p>\n

Taking top honour in the Professional Category was Monster Cloud Films. Their film, “Playback”, which tells the story of two childhood friends, impressed judges enough to win the Grand Video Award.<\/p>\n
