The light streaming in the windows at Miu Miu\u2019s show was unusual for fashion week, where venues are typically pitch black \u2013 but the trees outside with their young buds were a reminder of a change of season, that spring has crept up on us during the last month of runway presentations.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

But spring was old news on the runway. Miu Miu was all about the thick winter coat. Like at big sister brand Prada, as well as Louis Vuitton, some coat-dresses flattered the waist. <\/p>\n

But the predominant look was cut straight, as if taken from daddy\u2019s closet, and often double-breasted with big, padded shoulders. Miu Miu retained its coquettish attitude with white schoolgirl shirt collars worn on the outside of coats and dresses.<\/strong><\/p>\n
