{"id":7926,"date":"2011-03-10T01:03:07","date_gmt":"2011-03-10T01:03:07","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2011-03-10T01:03:18","modified_gmt":"2011-03-10T01:03:18","slug":"--1000-Enterprises-Children-in-Need-fund-surpasses-S-1m","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asiancemagazine.com\/?p=7926","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;1000 Enterprises Children-in-Need&#8217; fund surpasses S$1m"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Singapore Children&#8217;s Society&#8217;s &#8220;1000 Enterprises for Children-in-Need&#8221; fund has surpassed S$1 million in donations since its launch two years ago.<\/strong>  <\/p>\n<p>The fund saw a 38 per cent increase in participating businesses in its second year, with 106 new enterprises, bringing the total to 382.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Speaking at an appreciation dinner held by the Society on Thursday evening, Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean said that &#8220;while Singapore enjoys a robust recovery, let us not forget that there will always be those who need help&#8221;.
