Answer: Enter your company in the “Corporate Sailing League.”<\/p>\n
Did you know that sailing can be a tool towards professional advancement?<\/p>\n
By organizing your company team, you will meet many co-workers, come to the attention of senior management in a positive light, and maybe get invited to lunch with the President if your team wins a trophy!<\/p>\n
All this has happened in the past. And it will happen again with the re-launch of the Corporate Sailing League. <\/p>\n
Anyone can organize a company team. You do not need to be a great racer or even an experienced sailor. All you need is a little confidence and initiative.<\/p>\n
Just send me an email and I will send you the information package. <\/p>\n
Show the package to your co-workers and whoever handles your company’s other sport leagues. <\/p>\n
Before you know it, you will be zipping around the harbor with co-workers or cheering your company team from the clubhouse.<\/p>\n
The Corporate Sailing League will be on Thursday evenings. We will use extra sailing school boats which are anchored near the clubhouse in the harbor. <\/p>\n
The League will focus on team-building and camaraderie. Racing will be casual with multiple short courses every evening.<\/p>\n
Everyone at your company can participate. In addition to the racers, your company can send a team of spectators out to the clubhouse. They will enjoy the beauty of the harbor and be able to cheer for their company team. <\/p>\n
At the end of sailing each evening, the racing and spectator teams will gather together on the floating clubhouse for the awards presentation.<\/p>\n
These will be magical evenings, great for team building and the highlight of everyone’s summer.<\/p>\n
