I don’t know about you, but I do not like this look or color on the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai<\/strong>. It’s washing out her beautiful skin and blue eyes. <\/p>\n

Aishwarya<\/strong>, who is arguably one of the most recognizable Indian actresses, was at Cannes to announce she would be signing on for a new project – a tale of a fictional Bollywood star entitled Heroine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Asked if the film would be at all autobiographical, Aishwarya replied:<\/strong> ‘That’s what the viewer will probably be searching for, but very honestly, as an actor, it’s your professional responsibility to give to your characters with absolute commitment.<\/p>\n

Aishwarya<\/strong> posed at the photocall with director Bhandarkar and producer Ronnie Screwvala.<\/p>\n

The actress has been keeping busy during the Cannes Film Festival, and also made an appearance at the opening night ceremony and screening of Woody Allen’s Midnight In Paris.<\/p>\n

A release date for Heroine has yet to be announced<\/strong>, but production is due to commence in June.
