{"id":9358,"date":"2011-06-20T01:06:30","date_gmt":"2011-06-20T01:06:30","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2011-06-20T01:06:30","modified_gmt":"2011-06-20T01:06:30","slug":"Search-for-missing-Asian-Vancouver-woman-called-off","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asiancemagazine.com\/?p=9358","title":{"rendered":"Search for missing Asian Vancouver woman called off"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>North Shore Search-and-Rescue and the North Vancouver RCMP <a href=\"http:\/\/www.asiancemagazine.com\/news\/2011\/06\/19\/police-searching-for-missing-vancouver-woman\">have called off the formal search in Lynn Canyon for a missing Vancouver woman<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Vancouver police had appealed to the public for help in finding the 38-year old &#8220;emotionally distressed&#8221; woman, who went missing Friday.<\/p>\n<p>According to police, <strong>Yoo Chung Choi&#8217;s family has not seen or heard from her since 11 p.m. Friday and are concerned that Choi may try to hurt herself.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>North Vancouver RCMP found Choi&#8217;s car<\/strong> parked outside Lynn Valley Park in North Vancouver on Saturday. Mounties, park rangers and North Shore Search-and-Rescue searched the park but could not locate the woman.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Choi is Korean with a slim build.<\/strong> She&#8217;s five feet two inches and 120 pounds -and has long, black hair and brown eyes.
